The Volkl Phantastick 18mm is a high-quality all-mountain/freeride ski pole, which is just as suitable for sporty carving on the piste as for powder runs. For every taste, this robust allrounder made of resistant 7075 aluminum comes with both an alpine and a powder basket. The adjustable strap is easy to slip on and distributes the weight evenly around the wrist. Thanks to the non-slip, very easy to grip two-component handle, the pole always lies firmly in the hand, perfectly transmits the steering impulses and is up to any situation.

    I am 6 foot eight 250 pounds and and aggressive expert skier.. These polls work very well in fact excellent for price point. They are stiff enough to give you great pole plants at Speed without any excess bending. I have large hands and was initially concerned About the size of the handgrips but they fit perfectly. I am not sure I could find a better pole for the price point
