Best backcountry boot
Great fit for slender feet and plenty of flex. I walk mode and good flex in ski Mode

Got these to upgrade to a pin boot. I had some Dachstien boots from the late 80’s that I got a exact out of the box replacement for when The Marmot store closed. Fit so well didn’t change and skied those with old school silverettas everywhere while young and crazy. Didn’t want to be the “freebird!” chanting dude anymore. They had a vibram sole and a good walk mode. These loosely buckled are similar just not quite as good of a sole but that gives them the versatility it’s the only drawback I have found. IMPORTANT there is a adjustment I was not able to find at first and I saw no reference in the user manual. On the rear ski/tour lever you can take out the metal insert and turn it over to straighten the cuff even more than just not using the little black velco wedges it comes with. It really helped me an old ski bum with a bum back made it about 10 degrees if the ones in the manual are respectively 12 and 14 w/wedge. Nice and light also. They rail the big carves on the groomers well also.

These boots are freaking amazing. Worth the money.
These fit perfectly amd I had a hell of a time finding boots that fit my very long narrow feet. Wish I would have found these sooner. This is a great boot. Very comfortable and you truly are one with your skis in these. Also the walk mode is pretty sweet. I’m planning on keeping these babies for as long as I possibly can. 10/10 would recommend these boots.
