Perfect, comfortable boot for my beat-up feet

I always thought ski boots had to be painful. I have spent countless hours with awesome boot fitters to make them work with my gnarly feet.
On top of having boots punched out, my feet always fell asleep (even with boot heaters). I had to wear all sorts of padding on my toes to keep pressure away from bunions.
If I took my boots off, I would not be able to get them back on my feet the same day.
The Mindbender boot from K2 allows a custom fit for all levels of skiers. The actual boots are heated and you put them on while they cool down. In my case, I had to wear some tools on my imperfections that punched out the boot to give room and support where I needed it most.
After they were molded to my feet, I took off the “tools” and put the boots back on. To my amazement, they were comfortable and I walked around in them for an hour or so and they felt like regular, comfortable snow boots.
I was skeptical, I have never worn a boot straight out of the shop and made it for more than one miserable run. K2’s Mindbender has completed changed me. These boots have created comfort, support, and a happy face.

Perfect out of the box!
The day I got the all clear from the doctor these boots showed up at my house. I was so jazzed I threw the box in my truck and headed to my favorite back country lap spot. They were amazing then and they continue to hold up. I have taken them up alaskan peaks and on yurt trips and love them every time I put them on. (I have put a new footbed in them, but thats it.)
