I was looking for a highbred boot that excelled both front side and in the back country and after much deliberation I found the product I was longing for for years. I paired this with the shift binding and I haven’t been more pleased with a ski set up! Stoked for the year ahead and as a retail ski shop owner I look forward to bringing this boot in to my store and sharing the stoke with everyone

After only a little bit of custom work, these boots fit great and ski really well. Really like the moldable shells. Very nice feeling yet fairly stiff flex without being punishing. I like the walk mode too, it’s more range than I thought it would have. However, these are the coldest boots I’ve ever skied in, and the plastic is very soft (even though the boot is stiff). I wish the binding interface areas were made of something longer lasting. Something to be aware of before you drop the $$$.

Got these later in the season than anticipated, but great boot. Super stiff which I really like. No uphill in them yet but spring is here and nows the time!

Love my Salomon Shift Pro Alpine Touring boots. They’re light and powerful boots on the downhill and the walk mode is oh so comfortable.

I received these boots recently and have tried them on in the house a few times. First of all, they are every bit a 130 flex. Definitely a skier’s a/t boot. I’m very happy they went back to a 4 buckle design. The fit out of the box is pretty generic, but that’s by design due to the heat moldable shell. I would’ve been happier with a narrower, more defined heel pocket as it’s pretty generous back there. If you’re doing more touring than resort skiing, this isn’t the best option. It’s not the lightest thing out there and range of motion in hike mode is only average. That being said the hike lever is very easy to use and feels solid. This is an ideal boot for the hard charger who does a fair amount of slackcountry and wants to get out into the backcountry every so often, and tourers who prioritize downhill performance over uphill efficiency.
