K2 MINDBENDER 100 SKI BOOTS 2022
The Mindbender 100 is a medium-volume workhorse built for the intermediate resort skier looking to break into the backcountry. A Luxfit Tour liner, tech fittings, and a walk mode with a 50-degree range of motion ensure all-day comfort on the skin track, while a heat-moldable Powerlite shell will keep you going strong during those bell-to-bell days at the resort.
Before using your new boots, you must have an authorized K2 Skis retailer check your boot, binding, and sole setup. K2 Skis boot soles must only be changed by an authorized retailer.

I came from a 10+ year old boot after years of trying to keep my toes warm I finally decided to upgrade. My local boot shop sold me on the K2 Mindbender 100s. I love them. They fit great, my feet never get cold, and it’s super easy to strap in and back out. If give a 5 star if not for one minor issue. The top bolt head on the walk/ride lever snapped off leaving the rest of the bolt stuck inside the boot…. After speaking with K2 and my local shops, no one could fix it in time for me to continue my season. Unacceptable answer. So I asked around and wound up at an auto body shop who was able to get the stuck screw out within an hour. The gentleman working the auto shop explained how the metal used in the bolt/screw is simply inferior when compared to stainless steel. He recommended I try using a stainless steel screw instead and where to find one. I can only assume K2 made the screws out of whatever type of metal they used to decrease weight? But we are talking 4 tiny screws and so if I can find 4 stainless steel ones, I’ll be upgrading the lot.
